The DAP Championship Benefiting The LeBron James Family Foundation is the second of four Web.com Tour Finals Event to determine which 50 players will earn their PGA TOUR cards. PGA TOUR players who finish 126-200 on the PGA TOUR FedExCup Point List and players 1-75 from the Web.com Tour's Regular Season Money List will descend upon Canterbury to play in a four day stroke play event and compete for a $1,000,000 purse.
Located on Cleveland's east side, Canterbury Golf Club is nationally recognized as one of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S. and one of the three finest in Ohio. Canterbury is only one of two clubs in history to have hosted all five of the Men's Major Championships that rotate sites: U.S. Open, PGA Championship. U.S. Amateur, Senior U.S. Open, and Senior PGA Championship. Past Champions at Canterbury include Walter Hagen, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Mark O'Meara, and many more.
The DAP Championship is partnering with The LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) and all proceeds of the event will benefit the Foundation. As the primary charitable beneficiary of the DAP Championship, the LJFF strives to positively affect the lives of children and young adults through education and co-curricular educational initiatives. One such initiative is the Akron I Promise Network (AIPN) in which Akron children not only pledge to finish high school, but also strive to be leaders in their community.
