Host a Professional Golfer

Invite a professional golfer to stay in your home during the week of the DAP Championship September 18-24, 2017!

Housing a player for the DAP Championship will be the highlight of the golf year for many people and families.  The primary objective of this program is to offer players an alternative to spending a week in an expensive hotel room, while also providing the host families a glimpse into the life on Tour!

A few notes to remember as you consider housing a player:

  • We ask that you provide a private bedroom and bathroom.  Any amenities above and beyond this are entirely at your discretion
  • You are not required to provide any meals.  If you would like to include your players in your meal plans, you are welcome to do so.  The players will appreciate it, but do not expect it.
  • You are not required to provide any transportation for your players.  Most players will rent their own cars.
  • Players may arrive in Cleveland starting Saturday or Sunday and stay through the following Monday.  If they miss the cut, players may leave on Friday or Saturday.

How to sign up

If you are interested in hosting a player during the week of the DAP Championship (Sept. 18-24, 2017), please complete the registration form found HERE and return the completed housing form to Jim Morrissey at jnmorrissey@americanringmfg.com

Did you know? Last year's champion, Bryson DeChambeau, stayed in private housing (pictured above with his host family).  Jason Day also stayed in private housing when he won on the Web.com in Cleveland in 2007.
